There’s More to Life Than Design

Lately, I’ve been feeling something shift — a quiet reminder that there’s more to life than design.

Don’t get me wrong, design will always be my first love. It’s how I see the world and how I express ideas. But lately, I’ve been craving something bigger — the conversations, collaborations, and connections that happen beyond the floor plans and fabric samples.

Running a creative business opens so many unexpected doors. What started as a design studio has grown into something far richer — a space to connect with other women in business, to share experiences, and to explore new ways of building, leading, and living creatively.

It’s been exciting to realize that my role doesn’t have to fit neatly into “designer.” I can be a mentor, a strategist, a collaborator, even a storyteller. Each new opportunity — whether it’s a partnership, a workshop, or just a great conversation over coffee — feels like another layer added to both life and business.

Maybe that’s the point: great design reflects great living. And great living comes from curiosity — from saying yes to what inspires you, challenges you, and connects you to others doing the same.

Because while design will always be my foundation, I’m learning that growth often happens in the spaces between.
